Call off the search – we found the most beautiful apartment in Paris! It’s called Château Latour, and you (yes, you!) can rent it through Paris Perfect Apartments. Last month, John and I went to Paris for our babymoon and last international weekend away before Baby Naylor’s arrival (who is due to join us any day now!).
We were lucky enough to be able to stay in this gorgeous Parisian dream flat for two nights, which made our weekend even more memorable than we could have imagined. My jaw literally dropped when we walked into the space. It was even more beautiful than the photos on their site!
The charismatic Simon greeted us upon arrival and proceeded to show us around the apartment. In addition to being a friendly first face (which one would really appreciate after a long flight to Paris), he gave us some great information about the neighborhood and surrounding areas. The apartment also has a full guide on what to see in Paris, as well as recommendations of excellent restaurants in the city, plus other really useful information, like what the emergency numbers are in the city (hint: it’s not 9-1-1).
The master bedroom with access to the balcony and a full view of the Eiffel Tower – absolutely dreamy!
The first evening in the apartment was wonderful; I can’t tell you how much we both enjoyed the view of the sparkling Eiffel Tower from the couch! We decided to have a little breakfast get-together on Sunday morning with my sister and her family, who happen to live just around the corner. After picking up some Sunday goodies from one of our favorite local boulangeries (my old apartment/treehouse is just a few minutes’ walk down the street), we sat down to eat a half-French, half-English breakfast. My French brother-in-law had joked that he was expecting some baked beans – and we delivered!
My niece and nephew thought that John and I had moved back and were asking where the baby’s room would be. They were beyond excited to see the Eiffel Tower from the living room. One day, it would be amazing to live in a place like this!
On Sunday afternoon, we had our baby shower at the Hôtel La Belle Juliette in the 6e arrondissement, which my sister recommended. Many of our closest friends came to celebrate the baby’s arrival. We loved the space and service we received at the hotel. Not only did we have a huge room to ourselves but also the staff was just a few steps away, ready to help if needed. It’s such a luxury to have both space and privacy in Paris!
These gorgeous and delicious cupcakes were made by the talented Cat Beurnier of Sugar Daze, the best cupcake shop in the city!
We gave these gorgeous beauty samples as party favors. Maria Nila is my favorite (and organic!) shampoo at the moment, and I carry a little tube of this Malée hand cream in Verdure everywhere with me! Many thanks to Push PR for the samples.
In addition to renting several stunning apartments in the most desired parts of the city, Paris Perfect is restoring and refurbishing this gorgeous space into a hotel with seven luxury apartments on Place Dauphine (Ile de la Cité), two of which will have breathtaking balcony views of some of the city’s iconic landmarks, such as Sainte-Chapelle and Notre Dame. Keep an eye out for the opening of this boutique hotel, currently known as 25 Place Dauphine, formerly known as Hôtel Henri IV!
Thank you so much to Paris Perfect for making our babymoon an absolute dream. Spending the weekend in Château Latour will forever stay with us. Many thanks to our friends and family for the beautiful baby shower and all of the love!
Now, Baby Naylor, we are just waiting for you!
